There’s an old axiom, “When things get tight, something’s got to give.” As you truly yield and willingly give way to the transforming power of Spirit in your life, the door to God’s unbelievable power is opened and you can tap into that Truth and let it flow through you.
Jesus addressed this problem squarely. It appears in one of the most powerful passages in the scriptures (perhaps so powerful that it was kept out of the final version of the Bible). In the Gospel of Thomas, Jesus says, “If you bring forth what is within you, what is within you will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what is within you will destroy you.”
