Membership

Unity of Boulder welcomes anyone who enters our doors as a loving part of our Unity family, whether or not they become an official member. But we strongly encourage everyone to work towards membership as a way to further commitment, involvement, and spiritual growth. Each level comes with different duties and privileges, as outlined below.

Community Member

First Level: Community Member

1. Application

Anyone interested in becoming a community member at Unity of Boulder will complete an application to begin their process.

2. Membership Class

After an application has been submitted, the applicant will attend a Membership Class, offered on the last Sunday of every month.

3. Twenty (20) Hours of Service

Before, during and/or after completing the Membership Class, the applicant will complete 20 hours of volunteer service to Unity of Boulder, within a 12 month period. To facilitate this process, each applicant will be provided a membership service punch card, punched only by Unity of Boulder staff, to track service hours as they are completed. Once the card is full, it may be turned in to the church secretary.

4. Recognition

Upon completion of steps 1, 2 & 3, the applicant will attend the next available Membership Sunday service, in which all new members will be recognized and given a name tag and Community Member card.

5. Benefits

Community Members will receive 10% off all Unity of Boulder sponsored classes and events, 15% off in Om Books & Gifts, and will be eligible to apply to become an Ownership Member.
