The Power of Saying Yes

The Power of Saying Yes

“The Power of Saying Yes,” an inspiring talk by Syntysche Groverland.

I didn’t start my life with high expectations for myself. I didn’t start my adult life with the greatest self-esteem either. Early in my life, I had learning difficulties in school and I thought that I was stupid. So, I built a tough edge around me, so people couldn’t get close enough to find out that there was something wrong with me. By the time I was in my early 20s, I was an angry person that wanted to dictate and control everything, that way nobody could discover how vulnerable and scared I was inside.

If there is anything that has had the most impact on me on this Spiritual Journey, it is witnessing what God can accomplish through me and how limiting it is going through life trying to do it on your own. This truth has been proven to me over and over again as my spiritual practice deepened with time and with patience, and by giving my life over to God. A miracle happened; I found peace within me, regardless of what was going on in my life. My consciousness was awakening, without my having to do anything besides my practice, and Divine guidance took over and has led me down this incredible path.

I learned to follow the current of God’s life through me, instead of my own preferences, and now I am a Minister, a Mother, I am married to the love of my life, and I am fulfilled in a way I never dreamt I would be in my earlier years.

This Sunday, I will be talking about overcoming the limited thoughts many of us hold that cause us to do things like stay in jobs that no longer serve us, stay in relationships that no longer make us happy, and continue to live small instead of fulfilling our greater potential.

There is an invisible and incredible, Divine Force that will sweep you off of your feet if you let it. It will feed you, it will heal you, and it will free you!

As promised,

Syntysche Groverland
