What is transcendence, and why does it matter?
Transcendence matters because you were born into the material level of existence for a reason, and you have a worldly purpose in addition to your own personal evolution. Giving yourself permission to explore who and what you really are through the Western Mystery Tradition, to Know Thyself from a higher vantage point, begins to allow you to align with your purpose and be in flow with the world around you.
Though usually phrased in terms of spirituality, the quest for Transcendence is a vital part of a human’s evolution.
And you may say, “I’ve already been through this, how many times, do I have to transcend the world?”
My answer, is this. “Transcendence is a journey that takes place, every time an aspect of yourself no longer works in this inner and outer world–when you find yourself at the edge of the cliff once again, looking out beyond time and space, aware that another avenue or door has shut. And once again, you are being called to return to your inner sanctuary, for inner contemplation and a deepening of the innermost Self, which is the Divine Self. It is here, that we express more of our potential and God Self, into visibility.
