‘Be Still & Know I Am With You & I Will Protect You’

11AM MST Spiritual Experience
With a Spiritual Talk Given by Syntysche Groverland

THIS WEEK: ‘Be Still & Know I Am With You & I Will Protect You’

This week I will be giving a Spiritual Talk for the young people. A message of hope for teens and young adults struggling to find their way.

There seems to be a current of hopelessness hitting our young people, and it has affected our community directly in the last few weeks. It’s a time for us adults to learn a language that can encourage our teens our young adults to persevere and to be supported by all of us. It’s a time to help them navigate beyond the pressures of this changing world and encourage and cultivate a spiritual life with them and for them. Some of our young people are losing hope, and taking matters in their own hands.

I wrote a completely different talk topic this week and when it was completed, a rush of energy flooded my heart and being, feeling the release of a deep sadness that I was holding inside. It was a moment of an all knowing awareness of what this world must be like for our young people who have not yet had a chance to grasp the power of God’s love operating in and through their lives. These young people experienced the isolation of COVID during the already natural isolation of adolescence and young adulthood, when every little thing that happens feels like a catastrophic event. They have so much more to worry about for their futures then we did during our own adolescence. Things such as climate change, the political climate, the division of our society, social media, substances, peer pressure – the list goes on and on.

This Sunday, my goal is to have an honest talk about the how to spiritually support these young people before it’s too late, or before another mother has to go through the kind of loss I’ve witnessed in a mother these last few weeks.

‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

Join Syntysche this Sunday for a powerful interactive talk on lifting our young people up to better navigate and enjoy the beauty and the love life still has to offer.

Invite your teens, nieces and nephews, and grand-children. Or have them join us on-line at www.unityofboulder.com/livestream at 11am MST.
