In the Gospel of Mark, Chapter 14, the disciples ask Jesus where to prepare the Passover Meal (which would become the last supper Jesus had with his disciples). Jesus instructs the disciples to go into the city (Jerusalem – i.e. City of Peace) where a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him to a dwelling and the householder will show you a large upper room, furnished and ready–there prepare the passover for us.
The above scripture and all that (historically thinking) took place at the last supper are all highly symbolic, metaphysical Truths. If you’ve tuned into m Easter Talks, you’ve heard me interpret these symbolic Truths, but for this one page communication I just want to point out that the ‘upper room’ is the higher state of consciousness available to any human being who seeks the counsel of God in meditation.

“In quietness are all things answered, and is every problem quietly resolved. In conflict there can be no answer and no resolution, for its purpose is to make no resolution possilble, and to ensure no answer will be plain. Therefore, God must have given you a way of reaching to another state of mind in which the answer is already there. Such is the holy instant. It is here that all your problems should be brought and left. Here they belong, for here their answer is. It must be pointless to attempt to solve a problem where the answer cannot be. Yet just a surely it musch be reolved, if it is brought to where the answer it.”
