"Bridging the Two Realms." Sermon by Syntysche Groverland. Learning to bridge the two realms, the spiritual and the physical, is a balancing act of letting go and holding on.
“Rescue Your Child,” by Jack Groverland. Through a simple meditation, I share with you in this Sermon, you will rediscover the open-hearted way of living.
In Unity, we believe God divinely guides everything that is happening in our lives at all times, however we are the writers of our experience because we have been given free will. If things are going well in your life at this point, then you have harnessed the practice of being a powerful co-creator with that greater potential we call God, Source or Spirit, whatever name lifts your heart!
When I was in the 7th grade, my teacher asked me if I would like to make $25 helping her and her husband move from a ground floor apartment to an upstairs apartment. It turned out to be just her husband, who taught Greek language and culture at the University, and me, who at the time aspired to be a professional gambler.
In the Bible, Jeremiah 29:11 states, “For I know the plans I have for you…to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you hope and a future.” In this Sermon, Syntysche speaks about the journey of accessing the power of this promise.
Revelations are in essence difficult to accept immediately, because the expanded truths they import usually don't fit in with our traditional beliefs. So it is with the deeper Truths of Christmas. Christmas is made up of two words Christ AND Mass.
It is not that easy to welcome or trust the journey when you feel like things just don’t seem to be working out the way they used to or the way you hoped it would. I have noticed in my counseling sessions, posts on Facebook and articles that I have read, that there is an outcry, a frustration and discouragement for people at this time. Many feel very helpless and frustrated at the state of our country, our environment, all of the injustices happening in the world, healthcare, etc.
"Mindfulness: A Yoga For Life" by Jack Groverland
Proof of the Presence of God is what we want. Faith can open the door, but proof is required before anyone steps through the doorway into heaven.
Edgar Cayce, sometimes called, "the Sleeping Prophet", was raised a devout Christian but his trance readings (which were responsible for thousands of documented miracles) led him to a higher Universal Understanding of God, Christ and The Purposes of Life.
“The Power of Saying Yes,” an inspiring talk by Syntysche Groverland. I didn’t start my life with high expectations for myself. I didn’t start my adult life with the greatest self-esteem either. Early in my life, I had learning difficulties in school and I thought that I was stupid. So, I built a tough edge around me, so people couldn’t get close enough to find out that there was something wrong with me.
“What Your Leaders Do Not Know,” a talk by Jack Groverland. (Or more importantly, what YOU may not know. Also, what unhappy people everywhere do not know.) In our collective, deluded state of consciousness, we suppose the life-transforming Truth died on the cross with Christ, who never rose from the dead. Such would only be true if Christ was a man, instead of a man symbolizing the Divine Nature (Son of God) residing in each of us.
This Sunday at Unity of Boulder Spiritual Center! “Thank You, I am so grateful!” by Syntysche Groverland. A talk on how Gratitude turns what we have into enough. This Sunday, Syntysche will be speaking on how much power the words we speak out loud and the ones we feel in our heart impact our lives for the good or the bad.
The One Minute Meditation that Shifts the Mind Into Enlightenment. “The One Minute Meditation that Shifts the Mind Into Enlightenment,” by Jack Groverland. Why are people’s minds so taken in by insane acts of violence in the world? Because most people haven’t made up their minds in advance as to what they want, drama or peace.
Witnessing the Miracles of Prosperity. In this sermon, Jack, Norma, and Syntysche are the witnesses, telling stories of some of the amazing miracles that have happened in their own lives, and delving deeply into the prosperity consciousness that helped bring them about.
“Everything Is Happening For Me,” by Syntysche Groverland. “We have the key to life; and that key is the knowledge that life is a state of consciousness. The explanation of all your problems, the explanation of your difficulties, and the explanation of your triumphs in life boil down to this: life is a state of consciousness. That is the beginning and the end. That is the final step in metaphysics. All the other steps but lead up to that.” -Emmet Fox
“Dark Before the Dawn” by Jack Groverland. People worldwide are bemoaning the darkness of this present time, especially making reference to the state of our political affairs. “Russia hacking our democratic, electoral process!” “Political mean-spirited accusations and lies being bandied back and forth between politicians and political parties.”
"Silencing the Rampant Voices in Your Head" by Syntysche Groverland. Within each of us is an inner dialogue that is going on from the second we wake up until our head hits the pillow at night. As a result, most people are not tuning into the higher mind. They are not tuning into that voice of wisdom that guides and directs us in a holy way. Instead they are focusing on the ego voice that is incessantly translating and dictating our observations of anything and everything through the lens of fear and doubt.
“What's Going on with the World?” by Jack Groverland. In times of human tragedy, such as we have witnessed in recent weeks, people naturally question, “Is there really a benevolent Creator who is all knowing, all loving and all powerful – as Jesus represented him – if so, what are we missing?”
“The Truth of the Matter,” a talk by Syntysche Groverland. Within each of God’s children is a quickening that happens when the Soul of the child merges with its birth right as co-creator with that greater something that is in all, through all, and is all.
“When Something Just Isn’t Right,” by Shad Groverland. If you’re not happy, if something just doesn’t seem right, then maybe it isn’t. Perhaps what you are feeling is trying to tell you something. Your intuition is a sort of inner compass that tells you what is needed in each moment. Tuning into that higher wisdom and guidance takes practice. And, the first step before you can tune IN is to tune OUT. Tuning out the negative voices, or inferior thoughts that create doubt and fear, needless anxiety and worry - learning to tune all of that out takes faith.
“Meditation,” a talk by Jack Groverland, is week 2 of the talk series "Answering the Call of the Soul." Isaiah 30:15 says: “In returning (the mind) to quietness and rest, you shall be saved.”
