Season of Gratitude

Thanksgiving is kicking off the Holiday Season.  This is a wonderful time of year, a time for reflection and a time of Thanksgiving. A time to remember and give thanks for all of the beauty in our lives like, the beautiful snow falling, the smell of wood burning in our fire places, the Flatirons, the Squirrels, the Children, and The Magic of This Season.

When we ponder the things that we are grateful for we put ourselves in alignment with the Law of Attraction and it creates more things in our life to be grateful for.  This is also a Season of Giving, a time to give more to those who have less than us.  To create the magic of the holidays for those who would not necessarily get to.  In the Bible it says, “It is in giving that we receive.”

We are collecting food for the Boulder Food Share and the Lakota and Wind River Natives in the Lobby of our church.  We also are having a Thanksgiving Potluck on Thanksgiving at 11:45am for those who do not have family to spend the Holiday with or just want to bring their families and spend Thanksgiving with their Unity family.  I’m especially grateful for Michael Cox and Linda Ryel who are hosting the potluck this year.  Unity will provide the Turkeys, you just bring a dish to share.

Our Thanksgiving Joy Sing is at 10am on Thanksgiving Day in the Sanctuary, it’s a beautiful service centered around Gratitude.  Join us for the time of prayer together before we all go dive into the glutinous wonder of the day.

I’m so grateful for each and everyone of you who have made this church the beauty that it is.  I’m grateful for all of our volunteers, our staff and everyone who attends our center.  We are all so blessed!

With Love,
