Our Spiritual Leader at Unity of boulder, Syntysche Groverland, is hosting a Women’s Book Study Discussion Group featuring the life-transforming book Broken Open: How Difficult Times Can Help Us Grow by Elizabeth Lesser.
Syntysche would like to include any woman who would like to attend and enjoy the fellowship and support of other women even if you have not read the book.
The Goals for the Group are:
– Community Building
– Deeper authentic friendships
– Honest & safe environment for healing and growth
– Finding our spiritual sister’s on the path
– Exploring self expression and a true sense of belonging, with no judgment.
ABOUT THE BOOK:
Elizabeth Lesser has been an intimate witness to the ways in which people weather change and transition. In a beautifully crafted blend of moving stories, humorous insights, practical guidance, and personal memoir, she offers tools to help us make the choice we all face in times of challenge: Will we be broken down and defeated, or broken open and transformed? Lesser shares tales of ordinary people who have risen from the ashes of illness, divorce, loss of a job or a loved one – stronger, wiser, and more in touch with their purpose and passion. And she draws on the world’s great spiritual and psychological traditions to support us as we too learn to break open and blossom into who we were meant to be.

Hi Team, I love Unity of Boulder, but live in Wisconsin and watch live stream each week. I’d really love to attend the Broken Open: How Difficult Times Can Help Us Grow book club. Is there an possible way to be able to stream it as well? Blessings, peace and love, Leah Strecher

Hello Leah.
Alas, the women’s book study is in person only. Some classes are more conducive to hybrid and streaming than others, and we are striving to make more of our events available online when possible.
Peace & Love to you as well!
