Songs that smile…remarkable vocal arrangements that feature intertwining lines and gorgeous harmonies, a sun-splashed style underscores the positive messages of love, peace and self-awareness. Each tune serves as another stepping stone toward a better day and a richer life.

The Levins (pronounced LeVINNs) are a NY-based Contemporary Folk duo known for their sun-splashed, peace-filled music that connects on a universal level and with lighthearted depth. Their unique harmonies and tightly blended unison vocals reflect the married couple’s own compatible music and personal relationship. Ira and Julia (The Levins) closed out 2018 presenting and performing at the Parliament of World Religions Convention in Toronto followed by co-producing and performing in a multiple run, original, full-scale musical theater /Euro-circus production in San Francisco based on their earlier release “My Friend Hafiz.”
They are currently touring with their 2019 release, Caravan of Dawn which has hit the Top 10 on the Folk Charts and entered at #25 or the Roots Charts.
The Levins exude hope in every album they release. Caravan of Dawn is another step in the evolving search for harmony in a chaotic world. Their voices blend seamlessly as their songs present the world, and themselves, within an aura of beauty. They beckon us to follow them into a luminous vision that we can create together. Caravan of Dawn is a dazzling work of art to help us get there.

The Levins bridge communities with their infectious musicality, inspire the socially-conscious and spiritual, all while uplifting the weary and occasionally, even the cynical.
