MEDITATION AT UNITY
At Unity we advocate developing a strong and regular spiritual practice to balance your spiritual life with everyday working commitments during the week. One of these practices is meditation. Meditation is a helpful skill and enduring way to align and balance yourself in preparation for the demands & stresses of daily commitments. It can also help in your efforts to be present for your family. This practical spiritual tool can help alieviate anxiety and bring peace, self knowledge and acceptance to you in all stages of your life.
Every Sunday at Unity of Boulder we offer a 9am MST Meditation & Satsang–a group contemplative meditation featuring Live Tibetan Singing Bowls performed by Norma Groverland and a spiritual message and guided meditation given by Jack Groverland.
This Week Jack’s Spiritual Message is Titled: “The Wisdom Beyond Thought”

You and I are in training, learning to remove the false information we harbor in mind that blocks the life-enhancing wisdom of our core (Divine Self) nature. This core nature exists in everyone but it remains dormant and useless until one gives it higher attention through specific modes of spiritual disciplines like meditation, introspection and affirmation.
Let’s consider what modern day Master, Eckhart Tolle reveals in his book, Stillness Speaks 15 P 3-4
“The human mind, in its desire to know, understand, and control, mistakes its opinions and viewpoints for the truth. It says: this is how it is. You have to be larger than thought to realize that however you interpret “your life” or someone else’s life or behavior, however you judge any situation, it is no more than a viewpoint, one of many possible perspectives. It is no more than a bundle of thoughts. But reality is one unified whole, in which all things are interwoven, where nothing exists in and by itself. Thinking fragments reality — it cuts it up into conceptual bits and pieces.
The thinking mind is a useful and powerful tool, but it is also very limiting when it takes over your life completely, when you don’t realize that it is only a small aspect of the consciousness that you are.”
This Sunday at Unity of Boulder’s 9AM Meditation & Satsang, we will learn how to access our Divine Core Wisdom and utilize intuition, instead of mundane reasoning, to solve our problems.

Our Satsang begins with meditative chant-singing, followed by a brief insightful and life enhancing message given by our Spiritual Leader, Minister Emeritus, Jack Groverland. You will be guided into meditation with an enlightening mantra given by Rev. Jack leading into the sound healing resonance of the tibetan singing bowls into 10 minutes of silent meditation. The gathering concludes with an inspirational visual meditation video.
We hope you will join us for this universal multifaith experiential spiritual event and to discover, nurture and grow an awareness of yourself and your spiritual presence in the world.
