This dance event is for anyone who wants to come out and see what the excitement is all about. Wear comfortable clothes, sock or barefoot, if you would like cushioning for floor work bring a mat.
Nia Jams are held throughtout the world to build community and get people dancing featuring multiple teachers…one focus…and one intent. A Nia Jam typically follows the format of a Traditional Nia Class, 7 Cyles of Nia for all levels, all ages and all abilities.

ABOUT NIA:
Nia Technique Dance is genuine spiritual movement art moving through the dance community worldwide that taps into our intrinsic movement and the innate passion of expression of our bodies, minds and souls.
In Spiritual Nia, the only person we aim to please is the self. Nia spirit movements are guided by The Body’s Way, which is a method of using the body according to its inherent design and function. Instead of forcing ourselves to bend and twist in ways that strain or injure the body, we seek dynamic ease.
The classes will be led by Rebekah Hartman, Lisa Baba & Karen Olsen (K.O.)
