This two hour deep dive in the Nia Technique will provide you with the foundation of the practice including the basic 52 moves and the Seven Cycles of Nia.
This class is perfect for all levels of Practice from “this is my first Nia experience” to “I am a Sacred Athlete.”

What is the Nia Technique?
Nia is a movement practice for the body, mind and soul; a cardio-dance, fitness practice that blends energizing music with simple choreography. Moves are infused with the power and precision of the martial arts; expression and fun of the dance arts; and the mindfulness of the healing arts. Nia can be easily adapted for each person.
Nia is more than just a workout. Nia is an holistic approach to health designed to address the body, mind, emotion and spirit. As an ongoing practice, Nia promotes mindful awareness of the body, holistic fitness, and a well-being lifestyle.
This 2 hour Playshop, hosted by First Degree Black Belt Nia Instructors Rebekah Hartman and Lisa Baba, will provide you with the principles behind this lifestyle practice and an opportunity to learn and practice in a safe environment at the beautiful dance studio at Unity of Boulder.
