“Unity as a Spiritual Movement,” with Ministers Jack, Syntysche & Shad Groverland.
For thousands of years religion has tried to sell itself as the solution to our individual and global problems, with dogmatic ideas about how to live and worship. These ideas have been applicable and beneficial for a select few, but by and large humanity has been faced with the realization that we are still plagued with the same problems we had hundreds of years ago. People feel broken, the world is in conflict and religion has fallen short of delivering on its promise.
Now we find ourselves seeking another solution and asking pointed questions:
-What is the next evolution in spiritual practice, spiritual unfoldment?
-What will heal humanity from its plague of internal and external conflict?
These are the types of questions that inspired the spiritual movement we call Unity. A movement that is focused on bringing healing to the individual, to humanity, and to our relationship with nature. A movement that is focused on uniting all the world religions through our shared goals and similarities, as opposed to the rhetoric of old religion whose primary focus has been on division and exclusivity.
Unity is here to facilitate a real and lasting awakening of humanity that comes from deep compassion, love and understanding.
This Sunday, our three Unity ministers will share the five foundational principles that lay the groundwork for a message that is designed to actually deliver on its promise.
