BOCO Gold 2018 Winner, Unity of Boulder Church, is less a church and more a spiritual movement inclusive of many religions and teachings. Unity, which has its roots in Christianity, embraces diversity, community, acceptance and the Truth of Love that unites everyone.
For thousands of years religion has tried to sell itself as the solution to our individual and global problems, with dogmatic ideas about how to live and worship. These ideas have been applicable and beneficial for a select few, but by and large humanity has been faced with the realization that we are still plagued with the same problems we had hundreds of years ago. People feel broken, the world is in conflict and religion has fallen short of delivering on its promise.
