Y.O.U. Youth of UnityCalling all High School Age
Teens,
The Youth Of Unity (Y.O.U) will
start back on Welcome Back Sunday, September 9th at 10:30 am. We want to invite
any new or returning teens to join us, as we always welcome new people and love
getting to know them!
There's nothing quite like
meeting with a group of like-minded peers in a safe and loving environment,
where minds and hearts are open & judgment is sparing. Where laughter fills
the air, spiritual conversations are deep, group hugs are common, and there's
the occasional silly song! That is what
the Y.O.U. is all about. It's a wonderful place for teens to learn about
themselves, discover their own spiritual path & make friendships that can
last a lifetime.
This year the Y.O.U. is looking
forward to strengthening our group with spiritual growth, service to our church
& community, a dedication towards leadership and having fun with the many
activities & retreats we attend!

Dear Parents
The Uniteens program is robust and
growing stronger all the time. We’re so
pleased to announce that four new Uniteens
have joined the program in just the last two
weeks! Our kids are learning so much and
having fun in the safe, sane environment that
they have created for themselves that they
are the ones who are spreading the word,
inviting their friends to join us for our Sunday
meetings.
Two weeks ago we had the most successful
lock-in ever, with 15 beautiful souls participating
in a sushi making party and movie night, then
spending the next day together in the woods at
Ceran St. Vrain, with a campfire and marshmallow
roast.
completing the decoration of our
room at Unity, including our poster
of ‘Agreements’, a fundraiser to help
us with our activities (hope you
remember our delicious baked goods…),
and of course more time in nature, as
that seems to be both a sacred and
immensely enjoyable experience for all
of us. This is in addition to our regular
weekly discussions of real, relevant topics
the kids face, and how we can apply spiritual
principles to lead more joyous and peaceful
lives. Sincerely, Andy Lenec
Head of Uniteens (Ages 11 - 14 year olds)
